First off. I must've financed part of a few Lebanese takeout spots while I was pregnant. Oh, you paid off your mortgage a year early? You have me to thank for, Sir. I will never, ever, get sick of their food. You know I consider you to be family if my wedding gift to you is to finance your midnight bar as an Amir or Boustan delivery truck. Wait for it, it'll come.

Now. Maternity leave pay is quite a joke. So I thought, how can I live in a kebab world without constantly paying for the extra mayo? You make it, mama. Here is a 5 minute solution to your financial issues (I may be the only person who let Middle-Eastern takeout create a dent so big in their savings they can start calling it 'financially-induced trauma'). Hopefully you know by now that my savings took a hit because I boarded about 786 flights during my university years. But this garlic mayo addiction did not help!!

You will need,

Mayonnaise (5 tbsp)

Garlic (4 cloves, minced)

Scallion (1, thinly sliced- adds crunchiness!)

Lemon jucie (1 tbsp)

Olive oil (3 tbsp)

* This is good for 1 meal (2 portions) and a leftover portion, I would triple these quantities if you want to make a batch for meal prepping!

A step or two,

1. Add all ingredients to a bowl, whisk together and season with salt and pepper.

2. Top with extra scallions and serve. I suggest a BUNCH of roasted potatoes.

3. Enjoy!
